Service fee per ticket
5%
Added at checkout and shown to the buyer before they pay, plus 2% taken from your ticket revenue.
What you pay
These are the rates configured on this platform right now — the same ones your buyers meet at checkout.
5%
Buyer service fee
Added on top of your ticket price at checkout and shown to the buyer before they pay.
2%
Organizer fee
Taken from your ticket revenue when a card payment settles. That is the whole of your bill.
0%
Bank-transfer orders
The buyer pays you directly, you confirm the transfer, and we issue the tickets. We take nothing.
Card payments also carry Stripe's own processing cost. The buyer service fee is never set below our estimate of that cost, so selling a ticket cannot leave you out of pocket. Amounts are rounded to the smallest unit of the event's currency. Live rates could not be read just now, so our standard rates are shown. The exact fee for your event is always confirmed in your dashboard before you publish.
What the same ticket costs elsewhere
Worked through on one ticket, using each platform's own published rates. Fees added on top are what your buyer sees; fees taken off are what leaves your payout.
Example: one $25.00 ticket
| Platform | Published fees | Buyer pays | You keep | Total fees |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Orbit Ticket |
| $26.25 | $24.50 | $1.75 |
| EventbriteTheir published pricing |
| $28.52 | $25.00 | $3.52 |
Competitor figures are reproduced from each platform's own published pricing page as it stood on August 3, 2026, for card payments in US dollars. Rates differ by country, plan and payment method and can change without notice, so check the linked page before you decide. We only list a platform here while we can point at the page its numbers came from. Orbit Ticket's own figures are read live from the fee settings on this platform.
Questions organizers ask us
When do I get paid?
Card payments go into your own Stripe account and follow your Stripe payout schedule — we never hold your takings. Bank transfers go straight from the buyer to your bank.
Is there a monthly fee or a contract?
No. You pay per ticket sold, and nothing in the months when you are not selling.
Who actually pays the service fee?
The buyer. It is added on top of your ticket price and shown at checkout before any card details are entered, so nobody is surprised at the end.
What happens if I take bank transfers?
There is no platform fee at all. The buyer gets a reference code, you confirm the payment when it arrives, and we send out the QR tickets.
Can I refund an order?
Yes. Refunding from your dashboard cancels the tickets on that order, so they can no longer be scanned at the door.
Can my buyers read this in their language?
The public pages, checkout and ticket e-mails are available in English, French and German, and the buyer can switch language at the bottom of every page.
