1. Who we are

Orbit Ticket is an online ticketing platform on which event organizers create events, sell tickets, and manage attendees. Orbit Ticket operates as a marketplace: every event on the platform is created and sold by its organizer, not by Orbit Ticket.

2. The marketplace model

When you buy a ticket through Orbit Ticket, your purchase contract is formed with the event organizer. The organizer is the merchant of record for their events: they set ticket prices and conditions, define the applicable refund rules, and are responsible for staging the event and delivering what was sold.

Orbit Ticket provides the technology that runs the event page, checkout, payment processing, ticket delivery, and door check-in, and charges a service fee for this. Where a buyer-facing service fee applies, it is shown before you pay.

3. Organizer accounts

Organizers and their staff must provide accurate account information, keep their credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under their organization's account, including staff they invite.

Organizers must comply with all laws that apply to their events — including consumer-protection, tax, and event-safety rules — and must honor the tickets they sell.

4. Purchases and payment

Buyers purchase as guests using an email address; no customer account is required. Card payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of the organizer. For bank-transfer orders, payment is made directly to the organizer's bank account and tickets are issued once the organizer confirms receipt.

All prices are shown in the event's currency. An order is confirmed when payment is confirmed, and tickets are delivered to the buyer's email address.

5. Tickets and entry

Each ticket carries a unique QR code that admits one person once. Keep your ticket link and QR code confidential; whoever presents the code first will be admitted. The organizer may refuse entry where an event's own admission rules (for example age limits) are not met.

Tickets may not be resold commercially or duplicated without the organizer's permission.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are handled by the event organizer as merchant of record. The rules are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the platform for unlawful events or content, fraud, attempts to bypass payment or entry controls, scraping, or anything that disrupts the platform or other users. We may suspend or restrict accounts or events that violate these terms or create risk for buyers.

8. Availability and liability

The platform is provided “as is”; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The organizer — not Orbit Ticket — is responsible for the event itself, including its quality, schedule, and cancellation.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (for example liability for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury). The scope of any further limitation of liability: [TBD — legal review].

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when features or legal requirements change. The date above shows the latest revision; material changes will be announced on the platform with reasonable notice.
